New TOOLSONG Gallery opens in renovated MadJax space

A new art exhibition space, TOOLSONG Gallery, has opened in downtown Muncie, Indiana, within the MadJax Maker Force creative hub. The gallery, located in a renovated former transformer shaft of a historic industrial building, launched with an inaugural exhibition titled "Untied: On Process, Drift, and Letting Go" by artist Kevin R. Klinger.

The opening represents a significant local arts development, transforming an industrial space into a contemporary gallery through a community-focused project. The gallery was designed and built by Ball State University architecture students, funded in part by the Ball Brothers Foundation, and aims to host rotating exhibitions and public programs, aligning with broader downtown revitalization efforts like the Third Thursday night market.
