Penn State Altoona will present "Unmuting the Noise," an exhibition of work by visual arts senior Makenzie Kunkle, from April 30 to May 7 in the Sheetz Gallery. A public reception will be held on April 30 in the Titelman Study.
The exhibition showcases the thesis work of a graduating student, highlighting the role of university galleries in launching emerging artists. Kunkle's work, which explores emotion through nature, symbolism, and music, has already earned her the Zoller Art Award and publication in the campus literary magazine, marking a significant step in her transition to a professional art career.
