The relocation matters because it reflects ACG's significant growth—from three to seven employees and working with over 400 artists annually—and its renewed commitment to downtown Albany. The larger space enables expanded programming, including workshops, open mics, and community events, while supporting the gallery's mission to fairly compensate local artists. The move was supported by a Downtown Albany Retail Grant Program award, and ACG is currently fundraising $48,000 to establish a strong foundation in its new home, with matching donations up to $24,000.
