Thomas Bangalter, formerly of the electronic music duo Daft Punk, is scheduled to co-headline an immersive experience called 'WAREHOUSE ARTEFACTS' at the Art Basel fair in Basel, Switzerland. The event, produced by Nordstern Basel nightclub in cooperation with Art Basel and Fondation Beyeler, will also feature house music producer Rampa and conceptual artist Julian Charrière.
Miart, Milan's international modern and contemporary art fair, is marking its 30th anniversary with significant changes for its 2026 edition. The fair is moving to a new venue, the South Wing at Allianz MiCo designed by Mario Bellini Architects, and adopting a more compact, three-floor layout designed to foster cross-presentation and dialogue. It has also announced a new theme, "New Directions," inspired by the jazz legacies of John Coltrane and Miles Davis, and a fresh graphic identity from design studio Leftloft.
The 2026 Met Gala, scheduled for May 4, will serve as the fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, with a theme inspired by the new exhibition "Costume Art." The event is co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, with lead sponsorship from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos, and will inaugurate the museum's new Conde M. Nast Galleries.
The Hotel Art Fair is returning to Bangkok from June 5-7, 2026, after a two-year hiatus. This edition will be held at the Kromo Bangkok hotel, a Hilton-affiliated property, where hotel rooms, cabinets, and beds will be transformed into temporary gallery spaces for displaying and selling art.
