MEGA Art Fair held its third edition in Milan, transforming a former perfume factory into a social and exhibition hub during Milan Art Week and Design Week. The fair, which ran from midday to midnight over an extended period, positioned itself as an alternative to traditional art fairs by prioritizing relaxed social connection, community engagement, and public programming over a purely commercial atmosphere.
Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin celebrated its 30th anniversary with a landmark benefit gala titled "A Night in Berlin," gathering over 500 cultural leaders from art, film, music, fashion, and philanthropy. The evening launched four new awards: the Studio Award to artists Abdulhamid Kircher, Monilola Olayemi Ilupeju, and Jonas Roßmeißl; the Lifetime Achievement Award to Mona Hatoum; the Global Arts Patronage Award to collector Kiran Nadar; and the Changemaker Award to the Delfina Foundation. The African Film Institute at e-flux launched its 2026 program with an event titled "Two Thousand Seasons: A Look Into 2026 and Beyond."
