Paloma Elsesser, Joan Jonas, and Isha Ambani Descended Upon Beacon for a Day at Dia

On a warm spring Saturday, the Dia Art Foundation hosted its annual Spring Benefit at Dia Beacon, drawing a cross-disciplinary crowd of artists, curators, museum leaders, and fashion figures. The event celebrated the opening of seven major exhibitions across the Beacon campus, featuring works by John Chamberlain, Lee Ufan, Kishio Suga, and Jack Whitten, and marked the rollout of a new partnership with Chanel. Guests explored over 20 galleries, enjoyed a seasonal lunch amid Chamberlain's sculptures, and participated in a special children's program, all set within the former Nabisco box-printing factory along the Hudson River.

Harwood Museum announces closing events for Pursuit of Happiness art exhibit

The Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, New Mexico, is hosting a Mystery Cabaret event on May 22 and 23, 2026, to celebrate the closing of its exhibition *Pursuit of Happiness: GI Bill in Taos*. Written and directed by local playwright John Biscello, the interactive theater experience invites guests to solve a fictional art theft, with actors, mocktails, and 1940s-era costumes. The exhibition closes May 31, after which the museum will remain closed until the opening of *Unearthing Futures / Desenterrando Futuros* on June 27.

Bloomsburg Children’s Museum exhibits works by two Danville artists

The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum in Pennsylvania is hosting an exhibition titled “Graphic Art by Glen Klein and Raku Pottery by Jeff Krankoskie,” featuring works by two artists from Danville. Glen Klein, a graphic artist and former butcher’s son, creates surreal digital prints and photographs, while Jeff Krankoskie specializes in wood-fired raku pottery, a dramatic technique involving red-hot pots plunged into organic materials. The exhibit runs through October and is included with regular museum admission.
