Art Basel has unveiled the exhibitor list for its 2026 flagship Swiss edition, featuring 290 galleries from 43 countries. The fair, scheduled for June 18–21, will include 21 first-time participants and an expanded 'Premiere' sector for recent works. Notable shifts include four galleries debuting directly in the main sector and the introduction of public commissions by Nairy Baghramian and Ibrahim Mahama as part of the inaugural Art Basel Awards.
Art Basel Paris has announced the 203 galleries participating in its 2025 edition, set to take place at the Grand Palais from October 24–26, with VIP previews on October 22–23. The fair is divided into three sections: the main Galeries section with 177 dealers, Emergence featuring 16 solo booths for emerging artists, and Premise with nine presentations from 10 galleries challenging the art historical canon. Notable blue-chip participants include Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, Pace Gallery, David Zwirner, and top Parisian galleries such as Balice Hertling, Galerie Chantal Crousel, and Mennour. The fair will also bring back its Oh La La! Initiative and public art exhibition in the Jardin des Tuileries.
Eleven Warsaw galleries opened their doors to eleven international counterparts for the second edition of Constellations, a gallery-sharing event running until May 10. Organized by Piktogram, Dawid Radziszewski, Stereo, and Wschód, the initiative pairs galleries from Basel, Berlin, Bucharest, Frankfurt, London, Naples, Paris, Shanghai, Stockholm, and Vienna with Polish art spaces like Foksal, Raster, and experimental newcomer Turnus. Highlights included Iris Touliatou's installation "untitled (still not over you)" at Import Export, which won the Friends’ Art Prize, funding an acquisition for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (MSN).
