Steps to Dreams: Artists with intellectual disabilities

The Patan Museum in Lalitpur recently hosted "Sapanaka Paila" (Steps to Dreams), an exhibition showcasing paintings by nine artists with intellectual disabilities. Organized by Mikha Creative Begins, the showcase featured works by artists including Sama Bajracharya and Sandhya Singh, whose vibrant depictions of nature, animals, and personal aspirations often bypass traditional artistic conventions. The exhibition served as a platform for these individuals to communicate complex emotions and dreams that they are often unable to express through verbal language.

British artist Stuart Robertson to unveil “Through The Artist’s Eye” at Bikaner House

British artist Stuart Robertson is set to debut a comprehensive new body of work at Bikaner House in New Delhi in April 2026. The exhibition, titled “Through The Artist’s Eye,” is the culmination of an 18-month residency at Dr Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in Daryaganj. Spanning photography, drawing, bronze sculpture, and cyanotypes, the collection documents the daily life, medical precision, and quiet compassion within one of India’s most prominent charitable medical institutions.

Reception for Resilience Exhibit

The Ucross Art Gallery hosted an artists’ reception for its latest exhibition, "Resilience," which showcases the work of the 2025 Ucross Fellowship for Native American Artists recipients. Curated by Marwin Begaye, the show features a diverse range of media including sculpture by Gina Herrera, mixed-media works by Wade Patton, and visual and performance art by Sarah Ortegon HighWalking, alongside photography and poetry by writer Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle. New mural celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Taubman Museums’ permanent collection

The Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia, has unveiled a new large-scale mural titled "Intersecting Terrain" by artist Mokha Laget. Commissioned to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the museum’s permanent collection, the geometric work draws inspiration from the local Blue Ridge Mountains and the architectural vision of the museum's designer, Randall Stout. The mural is situated in a public-facing space and is scheduled to remain on view for the next two years.
