Lenz Geerk’s Theatre of the Mind: painting as regulation of appearance

Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin presents "Theatre of the Mind," the first Italian institutional solo exhibition by German-born painter Lenz Geerk. The show features recent works from 2022 to 2024, exploring painting as a perceptual device where figures, objects, and domestic interiors exist in unstable, unresolved configurations. Installation views by Giorgio Perrottino accompany the exhibition, which runs at the foundation's space.

Reba Hore’s centenary exhibition in Kolkata spotlights her art of dizziness of the daily

The Waypoint café in Kolkata is hosting "Spring Time," a centenary exhibition dedicated to the late artist Reba Hore, in association with Seagull. The show features Hore's vibrant, abstract canvases that capture what is described as the 'dizziness of the daily'—scenes of ordinary life rendered with hurried, furious strokes and deep emotion. The exhibition runs until May 24, offering visitors a chance to view her work in a relaxed café setting.

A Torino arriva una provocatoria fiera d’arte dedicata all’olfatto inventata da una artista-erborista

The first edition of Olfacta Art Fair, a provocative art fair dedicated to scent, will take place from September 18 to 20, 2026, at EDIT Garden in Turin, Italy. Conceived by artist and herbalist Francesca Casale (born 1990) and her association Olfacta, the fair features ten artists and independent spaces under the curatorial direction of Gianluigi Ricuperati, with exhibition design by Maurizio Cilli. The event transforms the venue into an immersive environment where smells, emanations, and olfactory traces interact with installations, performances, scientific research, and sensory design, challenging traditional notions of art as a collectible object.
