Masure Gallery Brings a Focused Lens to Local Fine Art Photography in Fort Worth

Masure Gallery of Photography has opened in Fort Worth, Texas, as the city's only gallery dedicated exclusively to fine art photography. Founded through a partnership between gallery manager Simone Fischer and the co-owners of Fort Worth Camera, Jeff and CJ Masure, the space transforms a former event room into a white-walled exhibition venue with gallery-quality lighting. The gallery launched with "RED – A Bold Photography Exhibition," selected from nearly 200 open-call submissions requiring the color red, and now represents six local photographers: Walt Burns, Brooks Burris, Caroline Hanson, Chris Ireland, Felix Schilling, and K.P. Old School Studios: New Meanwhile Arts Space opens for Artists Open Houses 2026

Old School Studios, a new meanwhile arts space, opens this May as part of Artists Open Houses 2026 in Brighton. Developed by Artcore Brighton, the project transforms the former Brighton Waldorf school into working studios and an exhibition site, featuring over 50 artists working across sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, and moving image. Co-founded with Mutoid Waste Company and Glastonbury Art Director Alex Wright (aka Wreckage), the space includes pop-up performances, workshops, and food from Lost Pier and La Cantina.

Emerging artists up for exhibition award

The 53rd Riversdale Mixed Media Arts Exhibition will take place in June at the Riversdale Community Centre in New Zealand, featuring a $1,000 emerging artist award for artists aged 13-25 from Southland, Queenstown-Lakes, and West Otago. The award received a record 44 entries in 2025, with judges Marcella and Jim Geddes selecting the top 10 artworks for display on opening day. New art gallery inspired by Norfolk landscape to open in nature reserve

A new art gallery is set to open within Pensthorpe, a nature reserve in Norfolk, on May 25, in partnership with local artist Claire Frances Smith. ‘Farm & Fields’ exhibit features local artists
