Art exhibits open in Earlville

The Earlville Opera House Art Galleries in Earlville, New York, will open the second round of 2026 visual artist exhibitions on Saturday, May 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. The series features three artists: Bruce E. Webster with his retrospective "A Legacy in Wood" showcasing over 40 years of fine wood furniture; Linda Kays-Biviano with "From Clay to Character: Featuring Woodland Spirits," hand-sculpted fantasy figures in polymer clay and resin; and Lawrence Kinney. The exhibits run through July 2, with free admission and an Artist Talk at 1:45 p.m. on opening day.

Tracey Rose Exhibition Walkthrough + Reception

Ruby City in San Antonio is hosting a special celebration of artist Tracey Rose, featuring an exhibition walkthrough led by director Elyse A. Gonzales. The event includes a reception with music, food, and drinks, as well as voter registration resources from MOVE Texas. The walkthrough takes place on June 6, 2026, from 2–3 PM, followed by a reception until 5 PM.

Festival Fever in Wells this autumn

Wells, England, is hosting a month-long cultural festival in October 2024, featuring multiple events including the Mendip Rocks! geological festival with a photography exhibition by artist Elizabeth Woodger at Wells & Mendip Museum, the Wells Art Contemporary open competition and installation show at Wells Cathedral, and the Wells Food Festival. The photography exhibition, titled 'Menhir,' explores how landscapes are shaped by geological processes and human actions, using a multi-layered technique of printing photographs onto local rock specimens and projecting them onto natural rock faces.
