Michel Bassompierre (1948-2026)

French sculptor Michel Bassompierre has died at age 78. He was named a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2010, received the Légion d'honneur in January 2025, and was promoted to Officier des Arts et des Lettres on April 1, 2025.
