Salt Lake Art Show Debuts, Bringing a Community-Centric Vision to the Rapidly Growing Western Art Market

The inaugural Salt Lake Art Show will debut May 14–17, 2026 at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy, Utah. Founded by father-daughter team Kevin O’Keefe and Briana Dolan of Peaks Art Fairs and the Reno Tahoe International Art Show, the fair features nearly 200 exhibitors from 20 U.S. states and five countries, organized into six segments including Galleries, Studios & Collectives, Utah Treasures, Bespoke Furniture, Sculpture Walk, and First Nations, Indigenous Peoples. The show emphasizes accessibility, interdisciplinary programming, and community engagement, building on the Reno Tahoe model that has doubled in size twice and generated millions in art sales.

A new contemporary art fair called ArteFiuggi is set to debut in September 2026 in Fiuggi, a small town in Lazio, south of Rome. Organized by Nicola Monti, son of renowned dealers Pio Monti and Liliana Maniero, the fair aims to become the southernmost art fair in Italy. It will be held at the Fiuggi Convention Centre, designed by Studio Valle and previously host to the 2024 G7, and will offer included hospitality for exhibitors at two local hotels.

Two New Italian Paintings for the Bemberg Collection in Toulouse

The Collection Bemberg in Toulouse has acquired two new Italian paintings, including a still life by Bernardo Strozzi (1581-1644) purchased at the Maastricht art fair from Galerie Canesso. The work, a vibrant depiction of peonies and fruit, was previously sold at Sotheby's London in July 2013 and first published in 1985. The acquisition continues the museum's decade-long strategy of enriching its holdings with major works sourced from the art market, guided by its scientific council.
