Student art show inspires creative spark

Los Medanos College held the opening reception for its 2026 student art exhibition on April 22, showcasing works selected by guest juror Jennifer Lugris. Awards and scholarships were presented in partnership with the Concord Art Association and the Art Guild of the Delta, with first place for drawing going to "Welcome to the World" by Gigi Centeno.
