Danny McBride’s production company, Rough House Pictures, has announced a partnership with Charleston-based art space Hed Hi Studio to launch a series of unconventional, short-lived art exhibitions throughout 2026. The collaboration kicks off in April with a showcase of hand-painted Ghanaian movie posters from Deadly Prey Gallery, followed by exhibitions featuring Brooklyn artist Jake Plissken and animator Jay Howell. These events are designed as "ephemeral" experiences, often lasting only four hours to emphasize the beauty of impermanence.

Art Macao 2025 opens this summer Sparking citywide artistic resonance through an everyday question

Art Macao 2025, the Macao International Art Biennale, will run from July to October 2025, featuring nearly 30 exhibitions across six sections. Art Center East opens new show May 1

Miller Art Museum Flooded with "Women and Water"

Hoelscher to exhibit art at Kalmanson Gallery

Jason Hoelscher, Gallery Director and Professor of Art at Georgia Southern University, will exhibit his work at The Kalmanson Gallery of Emanuel Arts Council in Swainsboro, Georgia, from May to June. An opening reception is scheduled for May 21, 5–7 p.m., free and open to the public. Hoelscher is a painter, writer, and professor with a PhD in aesthetic philosophy, an MFA from Pratt Institute, and extensive exhibition history across the U.S. and internationally, including airports and museums. He has also written for ARTnews and The Wall Street Journal, and authored the book "Art as Information Ecology" (Duke University Press, 2021).
