A new experimental space called Padimai Art & Tech Studio will open in November 2025 at Tanjong Pagar Distripark in Singapore. The launch features a VR work by artist Olafur Eliasson titled "Your view matter" (2022/25), commissioned by the studio's founder, technologist and collector Vignesh Sundaresan (also known as Metakovan). Sundaresan made headlines in 2021 with his record-breaking $69.3 million purchase of Beeple's "Everydays: The First 5000 Days." The work guides participants through six geometric virtual environments, with each visitor's trajectory and point of view recorded as a unique data file stored in a blockchain-based archive.

Collector of Beeple’s $69.3 million NFT work launches space in Singapore

Collector Vignesh Sundaresan, known as Metakovan and famous for purchasing Beeple's NFT artwork "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" for $69.3 million in 2021, has launched a new project space called Padimai Art & Tech Studio in Singapore's Tanjong Pagar Distripark. The venue opens with an Olafur Eliasson exhibition titled "Your view matter," an adaptation of a 2022 virtual reality work that records visitors' experiences on a blockchain system. Sundaresan describes Padimai as a heritage, contemporary art and research institution focused on technology as cultural infrastructure, exploring digital creation, preservation, circulation, and collective memory.

Court Decision Ends Dispute Over Who Actually Bought Beeple’s Everydays: The First 5000 Days for $69.3 M.

A federal judge in New York has approved a final settlement in a lawsuit between the two pseudonymous figures behind the record-breaking $69.3 million purchase of Beeple's NFT "Everydays: The First 5000 Days." The agreement legally prohibits Anand Venkateswaran (Twobadour) from claiming any involvement in the 2021 Christie's purchase, confirming that Vignesh Sundaresan (Metakovan) was the sole buyer. Venkateswaran must also pay an undisclosed sum, dissociate from related online profiles, and correct third-party biographical information.
