L’arboretum de Frédérique Lucien

French artist Frédérique Lucien presents her first exhibition at Galerie Backslash in Paris, featuring recent works inspired by plant, mineral, and organic forms. The show includes dry pastel drawings of orchids on engraved paper, metal cutouts in copper, brass, and aluminum, and small ceramic or earthenware sculptures grouped under the title "Offrandes." Prices range from €1,500 for small ceramic pieces to €18,000 for large pastels. Lucien had previously shown for 37 years with Galerie Jean Fournier, where she was introduced by Joan Mitchell and held her first solo show "Pistils" in 1989.
