Designer Gabriella Marcella has curated a new exhibition at Glasgow’s Glue Factory Galleries celebrating the global community of risograph printing. The show highlights work from her 'Riso Club' initiative, a non-profit program that distributes monthly sets of artist-designed postcards from cities ranging from Kyiv to Damascus. Originally developed in Japan in the 1980s as an affordable office tool, the risograph has been reclaimed by independent creatives for its unique soy-ink aesthetic and tactile, screenprint-like quality.

The historic Ca' Giustinian Faccanon, a rare example of Venetian Gothic architecture in the San Marco district, has reopened in Venice after over a year of restoration work. The 15th-century palace, acquired by entrepreneur Andrea Parisotto, will now serve as a space for exhibitions and events managed by Art Events and Cultural Real Estate Studio. During the 61st Venice Biennale, it will host the Vietnam Pavilion with the exhibition "Arte nel flusso globale" curated by Do Tuong Linh, marking Vietnam's first official participation, as well as a solo show by Korean sculptor Shim Moon-Seup titled "Harnessed From Nature."

This Risograph Studio Celebrates 400 Artist Postcards Mailed Around the Globe

Glasgow-based design studio Risotto is celebrating a major milestone for its Riso Club subscription service with a retrospective exhibition at the Glue Factory. Since 2017, the club has commissioned and mailed four artist postcards monthly to subscribers worldwide, reaching a total of 400 unique works. The exhibition, running from April 11 to 19, marks the 100th mailing and showcases the full collection of prints together for the first time.

Venezia Comics Celebrates Paolo Ongaro at Upcoming Festival

Italian cultural association Venezia Comics has announced an exhibition dedicated to comics artist Paolo Ongaro at its upcoming festival (1st–3rd May 2026). The exhibition, titled “Paolo Ongaro, il poeta dell’avventura” (“Paolo Ongaro: The Poet of Adventure”), will feature a range of his published work, with a focus on his series Spazio Chiama Atlantide. The event is organized in partnership with Storytelling Edizioni, which is also publishing the first volume of reprints of Ongaro’s stories. Ongaro, a recognized master of Italian comics born in Mestre in 1946, has worked for publishers such as Rizzoli, Mondadori, Disney, and Bonelli, and has drawn iconic characters including Tarzan, Diabolik, Mickey Mouse, and Martin Mystère. He will be present at the festival all three days for signings and chats.
