The Contemporary Art Center (CAC) Vilnius has appointed artist Nikita Kadan and curator Natalia Sielewicz as curators of the 16th Baltic Triennial, scheduled for 2027. Kadan is a Kyiv-based artist, while Sielewicz is chief curator at Warsaw's Museum of Modern Art. The duo has proposed "grief and resurrection" as the triennial's theme, framing despair and mourning as spaces for careful listening and potential renewal.
Photographer Jonk has invited 13 fellow artists to reinterpret his urbex photographs for a group exhibition titled "Jonk & Friends" at his Galerie Nature Forte in Paris. The show runs from May 7 to June 6, 2026, featuring works in a uniform 60 x 80 cm format, with participating artists including Horss, Mouarf, S4m, Siel, Bault, and Jace. Admission is free.
The Museum of Sex in Miami is presenting a new group exhibition titled "F*ck Art 2026: Nature & Artifice," opening April 29, 2026. Featuring over 30 local artists including Ana María Caballero, Cheryl Pope, and Justyna Kisielewicz, the show explores themes of bodies, desire, identity, surveillance, censorship, and intimacy through painting, textiles, sculpture, photography, and digital media.
