Students from Aldine ISD's Impact Leadership Academy will debut their collaborative artwork in the Shared Grounds exhibition, hosted by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH). The Manchester International Festival presents "Football City, Art United," an exhibition that pairs 11 footballers with contemporary artists to create collaborative artworks. CookieRun: Kingdom, the mobile game franchise, is opening a new art exhibition titled "Legacy of the Kingdom" at the Ara Art Center in Insa-dong, Jongno District, central Seoul, running from Friday through April 23. The exhibition features 10 high-quality collaborative artworks by Korea's master artisans, including lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl (najeon chilgi) by Sohn Dae-hyun, a buncheong vase by Park Sang-jin, and gold-leaf work by Kim Gi-ho, alongside interactive media art by Nerdy Artist Union. Visitors can use special wristbands to trigger projections and visual effects. Devsisters CEO Cho Kil-hyeon announced plans to expand the exhibition to the United States, Australia, Britain, Canada, Taiwan, and Thailand, given that 70% of players are from outside Korea.
NCI ARTworks is hosting an exhibition opening for international contemporary artist Ken Knight on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at its gallery in Peru. Knight will join via video to discuss his works, including recent pieces created in Portugal. The exhibition features a collaboration between Knight and contemporary artist Lorena Malm, where Knight's Mondrian-inspired works are enhanced by Malm's brushwork and layering techniques. The collaborative artwork will be on display and available for purchase through March at the NCI ARTworks Gallery in the Westclox building and at the Starved Rock Country Welcome Center in Utica.
