‘Shaun the Sheep’ exhibit to open at Reading Public Museum [Spotlight]

An interactive exhibit titled “Shaun the Sheep: Flock This Way!” will open at the Reading Public Museum in Pennsylvania on May 16 and run through September 6. Created by the Minnesota Children’s Museum in partnership with Aardman, the hands-on experience is designed for children ages 3 to 9 and features activities inspired by the popular film and television character, including balance boards, costume play, stop-motion animation, and problem-solving challenges. The exhibit is sponsored locally by the Berks County Community Foundation.

Pittsburgh’s Children’s Museum Satisfies a Hunger for Eric Carle

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh has launched a major interactive exhibition dedicated to the work of the late author and illustrator Eric Carle. The showcase features immersive environments based on five of Carle's most famous collage-based books, including "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," designed to engage young visitors through tactile and visual storytelling.

London’s Tate Modern will stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays

Tate Modern in London will extend its opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays to 9pm starting September 26, following record attendance by young visitors at its Tate Lates events in 2025. The museum reported that 76,000 people visited over its 25th birthday weekend in May, with 70 percent under 35, prompting the decision to offer later access to free collections and paid exhibitions.
