Studio B Boyertown Calls on Artists for Entries for ‘In Service’ Juried Exhibition

Studio B Boyertown is calling for artist entries for its upcoming juried exhibition titled “In Service,” scheduled from June 23 to August 23, 2025, with an opening reception on June 26. The exhibition invites works responding to themes of service, kindness, and inspiration, and also welcomes artistic acknowledgments of military personnel, first responders, and essential workers in celebration of the USA's 250th anniversary. Fine artist and former Marine combat artist Bob Williams will serve as juror. Entry fees are $35 per artist ($25 for Studio B members), and all exhibited works must be for sale with a 35% commission.

Studio B Boyertown Welcomes New Gallery Director, Announces New Exhibit

Studio B Boyertown has appointed Bob Hakun as its new gallery director. Hakun, an assemblage artist who creates works from found objects, previously worked as a computer graphic designer and prepress manager after his career designing Halloween masks and costumes moved overseas. He is a 1976 graduate of Kutztown University with a BFA in painting. The gallery is also presenting the exhibition “Form & Fiber: 3-Dimensional Expression in Art,” featuring 3-D and fiber works by Hakun and fifteen other artists, running through June 21.
