Studio B Boyertown is calling for artist entries for its upcoming juried exhibition titled “In Service,” scheduled from June 23 to August 23, 2025, with an opening reception on June 26. The exhibition invites works responding to themes of service, kindness, and inspiration, and also welcomes artistic acknowledgments of military personnel, first responders, and essential workers in celebration of the USA's 250th anniversary. Fine artist and former Marine combat artist Bob Williams will serve as juror. Entry fees are $35 per artist ($25 for Studio B members), and all exhibited works must be for sale with a 35% commission.
The call for entries matters because it highlights how local art spaces like Studio B Boyertown foster community engagement and dialogue through thematic exhibitions. By focusing on service and unity, the show aims to address societal divisiveness and honor those who serve, while also providing a platform for emerging and established local artists to exhibit and sell their work. Such initiatives strengthen regional art ecosystems and encourage public participation in the visual arts.
