A Parigi sta per arrivare “La Caverne du Pont Neuf” di JR. Colossale omaggio al ponte impacchettato di Christo e Jeanne-Claude
In June 2025, Paris will host "La Caverne du Pont Neuf," a monumental public art installation by French artist JR, running from June 6 to 28. The work reinterprets the Pont Neuf, the city's oldest bridge, which was famously wrapped by Christo and Jeanne-Claude in 1985. JR's installation uses an inflatable fabric structure printed with a trompe-l'œil stone surface, creating the illusion of a giant cave. It measures approximately 120 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 18 meters high, and includes an electroacoustic soundscape by Thomas Bangalter, formerly of Daft Punk. The piece is free and accessible 24/7, changing appearance with light and movement.
