Dr. Brian Corr, an associate professor at Hastings College and internationally recognized glass artist, is presenting his first solo museum exhibition at the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA). Titled "Of Light and Shadow," the show serves as a 20-year retrospective of Corr’s career, featuring large-scale glass installations and sculptures that explore the interplay of light, shadow, and contemplative space. The Great Plains Art Museum at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln will open three exhibitions on January 20, 2026, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Center for Great Plains Studies and the museum's 45th anniversary. The University of Nebraska–Lincoln's School of Art, Art History and Design will host the Fall 2025 Studio Art Capstone Exhibition from December 15 to 19 at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery. The show features work from seven graduating seniors—Lola Lafficher Agena, Nathan Anderson, Melissa Hewitt, Elle Marroquin, Lim Puoch, Ethan Schepers, and Carli Sorge—spanning sculpture, drawing, painting, and photography.
