Open Call: The 7th VH AWARD for Media Artists Engaged with the Context of Asia
Hyundai Motor Group has announced the open call for the 7th VH AWARD, a global platform supporting emerging media artists whose work engages with the contexts of Asia. Five finalists will receive increased production grants to create new single-channel video works, and will participate in an online residency program developed in collaboration with Ars Electronica. A new "Honorary Mention" category has been introduced to recognize additional promising artists. The Grand Prix winner, to be announced in June 2027, will receive an additional $30,000. Applications are open until July 21, 2026, and commissioned works will be presented at venues including Hyundai Motor Group's Vision Hall in Korea, HEK in Switzerland, the Ars Electronica Festival in Austria, and Singapore Art Week 2028.
