NODO 2026 67 GALLERIES AND SEVEN INTERNATIONAL CURATORS ON THE BUENOS AIRES CIRCUIT

NODO Circuitos returns to Buenos Aires from June 4 to 6, 2026, with 67 galleries spread across eight neighborhoods including Retiro, Recoleta, and Palermo. The free-admission program features visits from seven international curators and directors from Mexico, Colombia, Panama, the United States, Spain, Germany, and Brazil, including Jaime González Solís of MUAC, Marielsa Castro Vizcarra of MAMM, and Gean Moreno of ICA Miami. An acquisitions segment will connect galleries with institutions such as Colección Ama Amoedo, Fundación HITO Cultural, and the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires, while twelve gallery partnerships pair Buenos Aires-based spaces with galleries from other Argentine cities. Talks and presentations will take place at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires and Fundación Proa.

This edition matters because it reinforces Buenos Aires as a hub for the Latin American art market while fostering international dialogue and institutional collecting. The program's emphasis on collaboration between public and private sectors, its support for Argentine galleries, and the inclusion of a mediation program marking the 70th anniversary of the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires and the 10th anniversary of Meridiano highlight a strategic effort to professionalize the local art scene and attract global attention. The acquisitions segment directly encourages institutional acquisition of Argentine art, potentially boosting the market for local artists.
