The Oklahoma Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) have partnered for the third year to present the 2026 OVAC Members Show, opening June 2 at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum in Oklahoma City. The exhibition features works by over 50 Oklahoma artists, with 66 pieces spanning 2D and 3D media, and runs through Aug. 1. A free opening reception is scheduled for June 4, and an awards panel will take place July 11.
This annual show matters because it provides a vital platform for emerging and established Oklahoma artists to gain visibility, connect with audiences, and contribute to the state's cultural and economic vitality. By highlighting diverse perspectives and techniques, the exhibition underscores the role of visual art in fostering community dialogue and preserving Oklahoma's contemporary artistic narrative.
