NODO turns Buenos Aires into a three-day contemporary art circuit

More than 65 contemporary art galleries across Buenos Aires will open their doors for NODO, a three-day citywide art circuit running from June 4 through June 6, 2025. Organized by Meridiano and created in 2022, the free-admission event spans seven neighborhoods including Retiro, San Telmo, Recoleta, and Palermo, featuring exhibitions, live musical sets, educational tours, and artist conversations. Highlights include solo shows by Andrés Denegri at Rolf Art, Eduardo Stupía at Jorge Mara – La Ruche, and collaborative presentations pairing galleries from Argentine provinces with Buenos Aires spaces.

NODO matters because it actively promotes Argentine contemporary art to local and international curators and collectors while fostering new audiences. By matching provincial galleries with established Buenos Aires venues, the circuit decentralizes the art scene and supports regional artists. The event also strengthens Buenos Aires' position as a cultural destination in Latin America, offering free access to high-quality contemporary art across diverse neighborhoods and disciplines.
