Group art exhibition KALABIMB-26 in Delhi celebrates the expanse of Contemporary Indian Art

A group exhibition titled KALABIMB-26 is currently on display at the Visual Arts Gallery at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, organized by FineTouch. Featuring 25 contemporary Indian artists, the show presents a diverse range of paintings, photography, sculptures, and mixed media works that explore themes such as identity, memory, spirituality, environmental consciousness, social realities, urban transformation, and human resilience. Curated by Ravindra Kumar Tanwar and Balwinder Tanwar, the exhibition runs until June 9, 2026.

This exhibition matters because it creates a platform for dialogue between established veterans and emerging voices in Indian contemporary art, showcasing a wide spectrum of techniques from abstract expressionism and miniature painting to textile art and installations. By bringing together varied artistic practices under one roof, KALABIMB-26 not only reflects current societal and cultural conversations but also positions art as a bridge between tradition and innovation, encouraging meaningful engagement and contemplation among audiences.
