Students from Clark University designed new logos for the Harold Stevens Gallery, located inside WCUW 91.3 Community Radio in Worcester, Massachusetts. The project was part of Sherry Freyermuth's Identity in Practice course, with winning design by studio art major Sophie Lee '26, who won a popular vote. The logos were displayed at the gallery from April 20 to 23, and students gained real-world experience in client work and promotion.
This collaboration matters because it strengthens the gallery's brand identity while providing experiential learning for emerging artists and designers. The Harold Stevens Gallery, which opened in 2024 after a bequest from the late Harold Stevens, serves as a community space for exhibitions and events. Involving Clark students honors the station's origins on the Clark campus and reinforces the gallery's role in Worcester's contemporary arts community.
