Artist and curator Kat Knutsen has launched "Curious Figure 3," the third iteration of an exhibition series dedicated to the human form. Now hosted at the Star Store building in New Bedford, the show features 42 artists from across 21 states, including notable works by Joe Vaux and Judith Peck. The exhibition's move to the Star Store follows the displacement of the Co-Creative Center from its original location due to private development.
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) is hosting the Emerging Young Artists and Designers 2026 Juried Exhibition. The virtual opening and awards ceremony will be held on February 6, featuring 100 works selected from over 550 submissions by high school students across New England. The parishes of Castleknock and Mulhuddart with Clonsilla are hosting a Christmas Tree Festival at St Brigid’s in Castleknock from November 28th to 30th, featuring decorated trees that tell the Christmas story. Alongside the festival, an annual Arts and Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, November 29th, from 12pm to 4pm in the Parish Centre, including an art exhibition and sale by local artists and crafters, plus refreshments, cake stalls, and family activities like Santa’s Grotto and face painting.
