Lakeland’s first-ever Fuego Festival ignites downtown with Latin culture celebration

The city of Lakeland, Florida, launched its inaugural Fuego Festival, a downtown celebration dedicated to Latin culture, heritage, and the arts. Palm Beach artist honored with wing at Dreyfoos School of the Arts

The Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach has officially dedicated its Fine Arts Wing to artist and philanthropist Ellen Liman. A longtime board member and supporter, Liman recently opened a new gallery and studio in Palm Beach Towers, pledging all proceeds from her artwork sales to the school's foundation.

Artwork of 18 Chatham High Students Featured in Blackwell Art Show; Pieces Can Be Viewed at Morris Museum Through April

Eighteen students from Chatham High School have had their original artworks selected for the annual Blackwell Art Show, currently hosted at the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey. The students, encouraged by arts teacher Eric Hreha, submitted works ranging from abstract architectural paintings and character designs to vibrant illustrations, joining a competitive selection of hundreds of applicants from across Morris County.

Two New Exhibitions Open May 1 at Smith House Galleries

The Arts Council of the Valley is launching two concurrent solo exhibitions at the Smith House Galleries in Harrisonburg, Virginia. 'Young Warriors' by Sukenya Best features vibrant portrait paintings that explore themes of resilience and nature, while 'Water’s Journey' by Anna Freeman showcases ceramic and 2D works focused on the intertidal boundaries between land and water.
