New bronze sculptures on display in downtown Palm Springs

Two new bronze sculptures by internationally recognized artist J.D. Hansen have been installed in downtown Palm Springs. Titled "Resonance" (10 feet tall) and "Family Group" (8 feet tall on its base, reaching approximately 10 feet overall), the works are now on display in front of the Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel as part of a temporary public art exhibition presented in collaboration with Grit Development and HOHMANN Fine Art. The sculptures will remain on view for about a year.

Interconnectedness through Indigenous art

Seven local Indigenous artists were featured in this year's Indigenous Art exhibition at Gallery 121 in Belleville, Ontario. The exhibition, curated by Maureen Swann, showcased works including Tyler Tabobondung Rushnell's painting "Howling into the Sunset," alongside pieces by Mohawk artists David R. Maracle, Janice Brant, and Jennifer Brant, among others. The artists emphasized personal storytelling, cultural heritage, and the use of traditional materials and themes.

‘Portraits of Nations’ in Glendale

Armenian Arts Gallery in Glendale presented Seta Injeyan's exhibition 'Portraits of Nations: Songs in Color and Struggle' from May 7 to 10, with an opening reception on May 8. The show featured abstract paintings inspired by countries around the world, using flag colors and emotional resonance rather than literal political imagery. Gallery owner Stepan Partamian welcomed attendees, and Injeyan described her process as reaching for each nation's beauty, wounds, history, and spirit.

Tiverton's 'Art in Bloom' exhibition blends flowers and art

Four Corners Gallery in Tiverton, Rhode Island, is partnering with the Sogkonate Garden Club for an exhibition titled "Art in Bloom," running June 12–14, 2026. Garden club members will create floral arrangements inspired by specific artworks, interpreting their colors, texture, brushstrokes, mood, and emotional resonance. A reception on June 12 will feature music, refreshments, and opportunities to meet the artists and garden club members.
