armory show 2025 exhibitor list

The Armory Show has announced its 2025 exhibitor list, featuring over 230 galleries set to participate in the fair from September 5–7 at the Javits Center in New York, with a VIP preview on September 4. This edition marks the first under new director Kyla McMillan, who has introduced a revised floor plan, a new section called Function organized by dealer Ebony L. Haynes, and a reconfiguration of the large-scale works Platform section led by Souls Grown Deep. More than 20 exhibitors are returning after a hiatus, including White Cube and Andrew Kreps, while 55 galleries are participating for the first time, such as Skarstedt and Megan Mulrooney.

Frieze House Seoul: A New Permanent Exhibition Space Arrives in the Korean Capital

Frieze has announced the opening of Frieze House Seoul, a new permanent exhibition space in the Yaksu-dong neighborhood of the Korean capital. The venue, housed in a renovated 1988 building designed by Samuso Hyoja, spans over 2,260 square feet across four floors and includes a landscaped garden with a permanent site-specific installation by SANAA. Its inaugural exhibition, "UnHouse," curated by Jaeseok Kim, features queer and emerging artists such as Anne Imhof, Catherine Opie, and Joeun Kim Aatchim, exploring themes of home, identity, and power. The space will host year-round programming, including gallery residencies and special projects, building on the model of Frieze's No 9 Cork Street in London.

Frieze Seoul 2025 will bring together 120 galleries from over 30 countries for its fourth edition, running September 4–6 at the COEX convention center with a preview day on September 3. The fair coincides with Kiaf Seoul and is split into three sections: the main Galleries section (90 exhibitors), Focus Asia (10 solo presentations of emerging artists), and Frieze Masters (20 booths covering works from the Middle Ages to the 20th century). Blue-chip participants include Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, Pace Gallery, and David Zwirner, alongside leading Korean galleries such as Gallery Hyundai and Kukje Gallery. Five galleries have graduated from Focus Asia to the main section, and 20 first-time participants join the main section.

Frieze lines up more than 95 exhibitors for next Los Angeles fair

Frieze Los Angeles will return to Santa Monica Airport from February 26 to March 1, 2026, for its seventh edition, featuring more than 95 galleries from 22 countries. The fair includes returning blue-chip participants like Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, and David Zwirner, alongside a strong local Los Angeles gallery presence and more than a half-dozen first-time exhibitors. Special sectors include Sector for emerging artists, supported by Stone Island and curated by Essence Harden, and outdoor commissions organized with Art Production Fund. The Deutsche Bank Frieze Los Angeles Film Award and the Frieze Impact Prize, presented with Titus Kaphar’s Nxthvn incubator, will also return.

67 galleries will once again take over the Shed for Frieze New York

The Frieze New York art fair will return to the Shed in Manhattan for its sixth edition this May, featuring 67 galleries. This marks the first edition since the fair's parent company was acquired by Ari Emanuel's Mari. The event will coincide with several other New York art fairs and major spring auctions, creating a competitive landscape for collectors' attention as it follows closely on the heels of the 2026 Venice Biennale opening.
