MuseArt Terre Haute has announced its fourth anniversary art exhibition, titled “Give Me Liberty,” a community-wide open call for artists aged 16 and older in the Wabash Valley. Submissions are free, with a deadline of June 13, 2026, and accepted works will be displayed from July 1 through Sept. 5, 2026. The exhibition invites interpretations of liberty and American identity in various mediums, excluding AI-generated art, and offers awards including Best in Show and People’s Choice.
The exhibition matters because it provides a platform for local and emerging artists to engage with a timely national theme—the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States—while fostering community dialogue around freedom and identity. By removing financial barriers and encouraging diverse perspectives, MuseArt strengthens grassroots arts participation in the Wabash Valley region.
