Lilia Carrillo: Todo es sugerente Book Launch

Americas Society in New York City will host a book launch and panel discussion on June 3, 2026, to celebrate the release of 'Lilia Carrillo: Todo es sugerente'. This monograph, published by the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes in collaboration with Americas Society, serves as a comprehensive study of the Mexican artist's work. The event is held in conjunction with the ongoing exhibition 'Lilia Carrillo: Ruptures and Premonitions', which remains on view through August 1, 2026.

The program features a conversation between Leah Dickerman, director of research programs at MoMA, and Daniel Garza Usabiaga, the curator of the exhibition and former director of the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes. The discussion will explore Carrillo's contributions to modern art and her legacy within the Ruptura movement. The event includes a formal panel followed by a reception at the Americas Society's Park Avenue headquarters.
