Artists Rashid Johnson and Sheree Hovsepian to Launch New Residency Program in Menorca

Artists Rashid Johnson and Sheree Hovsepian are launching a new residency program called The Residency at Casa Gràcia on the island of Menorca, set to begin next spring. Barrage of Russian missiles damages museums, library and theatre in Kyiv

A massive Russian missile and drone strike on Kyiv over the weekend of 24 May damaged multiple cultural institutions, including the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Yaroslav Mudryi National Library of Ukraine, the Kyiv Opera Theatre, and the National Chornobyl Museum. The National Chornobyl Museum suffered the worst damage, with around 40% of its exhibition hall exhibits destroyed. Khaled Sabsabi’s Art of Collective Becoming

Future Generation Art Prize Returns with $100,000 Award for Emerging Artists.

Established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and organized by the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv, the prize offers a total award of US$100,000, including $60,000 in cash and $40,000 invested in the artist's future practice. The open call accepts submissions in any medium, with a deadline of 28 June 2026. Shortlisted artists will exhibit at the PinchukArtCentre in spring 2027, and a distinguished international jury will select the winners.
