Saul Dennison, a prominent arts patron and longtime supporter of the New Museum in New York, died on September 11 at age 96. Dennison served as president of the New Museum's board of trustees from 1999 to 2013, then as chairman until his death, and was instrumental in the museum's 2007 opening of its permanent home on the Bowery.
