Christie’s has secured the estate of Belgian collectors Roger and Josette Vanthournout, with over 200 works to be sold in its March sales in London, including a René Magritte painting estimated at $4.7 million. Meanwhile, South Africa blames Qatar for the cancellation of its Venice Biennale pavilion featuring a work about Gaza violence by Gabrielle Goliath, claiming Qatar sought to use the pavilion for "proxy power."
